AUSTIN, Texas (CNN) -- President-elect George W. Bush plans to stay an extra night at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, on Saturday, returning to Austin on Sunday with his wife, Laura.
Bush plans to attend church on Christmas Eve at the Tarrytown United Methodist Church in Austin. He also said he hopes to get some packing done at the Governor's Mansion and visit with friends.
The president-elect has also made room in his schedule for two days of vacation in Florida. Tuesday morning he travels to Boca Grande, where he will see his parents, former President George Bush and Barbara Bush, as well as his brother, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and more of the Bush family clan.
Thursday, Bush plans to fly to Washington, his new home, and continue with transition business.
