HOWARD FINEMAN

Howard Fineman is the chief political correspondent, senior editor and deputy Washington bureau chief for Newsweek. He reports on politics in the capital and across the nation from Newsweek's Washington bureau. Fineman has been Newsweek's lead reporter on politics and presidential elections since 1984. In 1980, he joined Newsweek's Washington bureau. He was named Senate correspondent in 1982 and chief political correspondent two years later. Fineman began his career in Louisville, KY in 1973 at The Courier-Journal.
